About Dr. Erickson
Corinne Erickson, MD, FAAD, MSCP, is a board-certified dermatologist and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner based in Atlanta, Georgia. She owns Georgia Skin Specialists, a medical dermatology practice, and founded Clear Aesthetics MD, both in Atlanta. Her clinical work centers on the skin and hair changes of perimenopause and menopause. Most of her patients arrive after years of being told that thinning hair, sudden dryness, and adult acne are simply part of getting older. Dr. Erickson studied at Stanford University, earned her medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland. She completed an Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program in 2025 and holds certification from The Menopause Society, a credential still uncommon among dermatologists. Atlanta Magazine has recognized her as a Top Doctor. Beyond the exam room, she publishes peer-reviewed work on hormones and the skin, develops continuing medical education for physicians, and writes essays for a general audience in her Substack, The Skin Pause. She authored the first description of pilocutaneous syndrome of menopause (PSM), the constellation of skin and hair changes driven by the menopause transition, which is available as a preprint and currently under peer review. She is drawn to the places where the evidence is thin, the questions are common, and the answers have not been written down yet. As a medical advisor to Alloy, Dr. Erickson supports the company across education, research, product development, and outreach, with the goal of getting accurate, specific, and usable guidance to women navigating midlife.
