Dr. Judith Barreiro, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist with over two decades of experience providing high-level surgical and clinical care to women in the Tampa Bay area. A breast cancer survivor, Dr. Barreiro brings both deep clinical expertise and personal insight to women’s health, particularly in midlife and beyond. Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Spain and the United States, she offers a unique, multicultural perspective to her practice, providing fluent care in both English and Spanish.

Since joining The Woman’s Group in 2005, Dr. Barreiro has established herself as a leader in gynecological health. In 2023, she transitioned her practice to focus exclusively on gynecology to meet the growing demand for specialized surgical and midlife care. She is a strong advocate for patient education and is known for her “Focus on Females” radio contributions and her commitment to staying at the forefront of medical information and technology as it relates to the care of women.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Barreiro is the owner of Posh MD Studio in St. Petersburg, FL, where she also serves as a paramedical tattoo artist specializing in 3D areola tattoos. Through this restorative service, she supports breast cancer survivors as part of their reconstruction and healing journey.
